THE PROJECT
The ownership of this historic building at 818 W. 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles partnered with PTB to carefully restore their unique and notable lobby. There was extensive structural work done for a new spiral staircase, 2nd floor platforms and 3rd floor floating pods anchored to the structure. We fabricate a new reception desk and created a beautiful and welcoming lounge area. It was a challenge to achieve this transformation with cranes and heavy equipment in the heart of Downtown LA but careful coordination with city officials made this historic transformation possible.
